Satellite imagery and Eye-movement analyses
These samples illustrate some of the information which can be collected using the Eye-Link eye-tracker
Scanning colored regions of satellite images |

Videos of eye movement scans (avi format). The moving green dot shows movement of my gaze-path. |

Fixations Dark blue points (right) represent individual fixations;diameter of surrounding circle indicate relative frequency; #s indicate average fixation time in msec. |
||||
Saccades are shown as the straight yellow lines representing their ballistic paths. Arrows indicate their direction and #s indicate their order. Blue lines show actual samples of eye-movements recorded every msec.

| The top of these images show fixations, saccades & IA's as described above. Bottom shows time series of (x & y dimensions of ) eye movements. In some of these time series, fixations are shown in bright blue rectangles, saccades are also represented as (vertical) yellow breaks. Velocity & acceleration are shown at at the top of the time series. Here is a sample from the 'scanning' trials which contains pronounced yellow ia's and illustrates many of the eye-movement parameters described above. | ||||
