The projects listed on my Eye-tracking page are at very early stage of development and serve primarily to give people an idea of work that I have in mind for the future. All of the experiments use the EL-Eylink 1000 eye-tracker to study different aspects of visual search and underlying visual-cognitive mechanisms.
Please note: the web pages have been tested primarily using Firefox & Camino web browsers on a Macintosh computer. Therefore, formatting, roll-over & other design effects, have been optimized for viewing under these conditions. I have done some testing on additional browsers and find that most of my intended effects seem to work in Mozilla, Safari, & Opera web browsers. But when viewing in Internet Explorer (IE) on a PC, roll-over effects may not be operative (depending on your version of IE); instead you may find (alt-text) comments or no effect, when 'rolling over' icons. While comments & roll-overs provide brief descriptions of the eye-tracking projects, the best place to find detailed information is in the linked pages. These appear when you click on the different icons or on the labels immediately below the icons.
Hopefully, these pages will give you an idea of projects which should be keeping me pretty busy over the next couple of years. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments or interest in collaborating on related work.
Happy browsing,
